this archive contains raw data dumps from IBM PC Compatible CD-ROMs.
disc images in this archive are supplied as either an .iso file, or as a set of .bin / .cue files.
.iso is for simple data-only discs, and bin/cue is for mixed-media discs (i.e. game data with CD audio tracks).
the most optimal format is selected depending on the type of data each CD-ROM contains.
generally, you'll mount the disc image, which presents it to your system as a virtual disc drive.
your OS treats it exactly as if you have the real disc inserted.
there are lots of great tools for this. DAEMON Tools can handle both .iso and bin/cue.
